We’ll Be Staying 

WE’VE DECIDED TO CONTINUE POSTING ON THE FISHERY BLOG. HERE’S THE LATEST ON LAKE LEVEL INFORMATION. EID IS CURRENTLY RELEASING WATER TO CONDUCT  ”GEOMORPHOLOGY MONITORING” OF THE CAPLES LAKE SPILLWAY CHANNEL AS WELL AS CAPLES CREEK TURBIDITY MONITORING (Definition of turbidity link).  Expect high water in Caples Creek for the next week.

BLOG GOALS

Initially we started this blog to inform the public of the ecosystem issues surrounding the 2008 -2009 drawdown of Caples Lake for Dam Repairs. With that task completed, we'll now provide updates on projects that impact the water level and surrounding shore area of Caples Lake.
